No he podido encontrar mucha info acerca de éste artista, (además de que comparte nombre con un oficial de la contrainteligencia nazi).Según su web:Wilhelm Staehle is a horribly dis-figured gentleman who often frightens small children when he emerges from the seclusion of his sprawling estate on the Eastern Coast of the Americas. In his free time, between sporting for wild game and dressing his disturbingly broad collection of taxidermy, he finds time to hand-cut peculiar silhouettes. He begs you to enjoy them, or to at least refrain from telling him if you do not. He thanks you for your time.Un cachondo, vamos.Parece ser que el artista conocido como Wilhelm Staehle fue seleccionado como uno de los 20 mejores diseñadores menores de 30 años por la revista"Print Magazine"(aka the New Visual Artist’s Award), ganó 2 "Adobe Acheivement awards for Design and Illustration"y ha trabajado en numerosos anuarios de la revista Print Magazine.
Lo que me ha llamado la atención de su trabajo, es su serie de imagenes titulada "Silhouette Masterpiece Theatre."Una serie de imagenes victorianas en las que inserta unas siluetas encima y les añade un diálogo o frase, en general de humor negro.Curioso resultado.Os dejo con unas cuantas imágenes.Podreis verlas todas aquí.
